Born and raised in San Diego, CA, Doug managed to excel in two simultaneous careers: one as an award-winning music producer, playing 16 instruments and recording with a long list of jazz giants, and one as a vice president of The AdGap Group, an innovative creative marketing company where he designed promotional campaigns for Fortune 1000 companies.
Just as he was getting ready to take an early retirement in 2004, he came to San Miguel de Allende to visit an old friend and fell in love with the town, the music and the people. Since his arrival in Mexico, he has continued to produce sold-out concerts around the country as well as joining CDR/Christie’s International Real Estate where he works with his wife, Denise Rosenfeld.
Born and raised in Mexico City, Denise is a passionate professional baker who enjoyed a bilingual and bicultural environment. She graduated from the American School and then studied Montessori Education, while assisting in a highly successful family real estate business. Next she traveled and lived abroad in Europe and South America, settling in Argentina where she began to raise a family.
Twenty years ago she returned to Mexico to live in Puerto Vallarta where she worked in sales, first as the manager of the largest import and distribution company of Balinese clothing in Mexico, then for six years in Real Estate with two prestigious firms.
Denise moved to San Miguel de Allende a little over a year ago and is very happy to have joined CDR/Christie’s International where she works as a team together with her husband Doug Robinson.
