After majoring in painting/design and theater, Nancy started her working career in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin pioneering a fine arts program for the criminally insane. After appointment as Wisconsin's representative to the National Institute of Mental Health in Washington, D.C., Nancy received the Citizenship Achievement Recognition and Outstanding Leadership Award and was named in "Who's Who of Outstanding Young Women in the U.S." Two governors encouraged her to run for US Senate, but she declined on the advice of her father who said, "Nancy, politics isn't for you, you can't lie." Instead, she acted on her entrepreneurial spirit and founded a successful retail clothing chain.
After these successes, Nancy felt drawn to work in the real estate industry and joined a top national team in Phoenix. Nancy's friendly personality made her a natural, and she went on to receive every award and kudo a realtor can achieve. Winning the International President's Elite award placed her at the top 1/2 percent of her company's agents worldwide. Later, she founded another real estate franchise which is now one of the most successful in the world with more than a billion dollars in sales in 2012. Across the Phoenix metro area, her face is recognized from the decades of marketing.
After moving to San Miguel de Allende, Nancy founded 1st International Realty to share the beauty and wonder of this colonial city with the world.
